By the time you see all there is to see and do in
Reykjavik,
you will want to stay a week.
Reykjavík offers a great variety of museums. Icelandic and foreign
artists display their work at the various art museums and galleries.
The twin flagships museums are the National Gallery and the Municipal Art
Museum (Kjarvalsstaðir).
Reykjavík--selected as one of the European Cultural Cities in the Year
2000--hosts a symphony orchestra, opera, several theatre companies, and a
ballet company.
Reykjavík also has great
thermal swimming pools.
Explore Iceland's unique
geological attractions with a visit to "Golden Falls" or the glowing Blue
